The contemporary duplex buildings sit in the bustling Middle Shooks Run neighborhood of downtown Colorado Springs. The two buildings were designed and built with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with 961 square foot units. The neighborhood style consists mostly of bungalows and small Victorians that were constructed during the 1920s and 1930s. Many of which extend deep into the lot, resulting in a long, narrow living space. The developer aimed to create a distinctive look to bring a modern touch to the aging area. Using our expertise in narrow building sites and by utilizing the entire lot, we were able to add a second duplex to fit behind the first, with a charming courtyard nestled between them. The project included 8 modular sections.
