History
Since 1978, Homestake Homes has built thousands of custom homes for families in an eleven state region. Centrally located in Wayne, Nebraska, we proudly design and build homes for clients in Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, and Canada.

Company President, Rod Tompkins, founded Homestake Homes on the principle that custom homes can be built much better and more efficiently in a controlled environment. Homestake Homes has grown and diversified over the past 33 years. Combine this efficiency with the latest in home-building technology and it’s not hard to see why Homestake is one of Mid-America’s premier system homebuilders.

Our Mission
Our mission is to design and build custom homes that meet the wants, needs and budgets of today's homeowners. Homestake Homes offers several different styles from basic ranch, to elaborate two-story, prow, loft and cape cod style homes. All Homestake Homes are custom built in our manufacturing facility in Wayne, Nebraska and are sold exclusively through a network of authorized Homestake Builders. Since all of our homes are custom built, the specifications and design features you select will determine your final investment. When designing your new Homestake Home with your local Heritage Builder, the choices are limited only by your imagination.

You can be rest assured knowing that your new Homestake Home is covered by a comprehensive three-year workmanship warranty. Each Homestake Home features a ten-year structural warranty from R.W.C. (Residential Warranty Corporation) an independent third party administrator.

We recommend that you see for yourself the quality of Homestake Homes. Tours of our facility are available by appointment Monday through Friday 9 am to 4 PM, and Saturdays from 9 am to 11 am.
